Adele may be the biggest pop star in the world, but she is joining a long line of poptrixxx that have headed down Divorce Lane.

After going half on a baby with Simon Konecki in 2012 and then eventually marrying him in 2017, the superstar singer recently announced their separation through her representatives with a statement to the Associated Press:

Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

Known for being a very private celebrity, Adele only confirmed she was married to Konecki after winning the 2017 Grammys ‘Album of the Year’ award. During her acceptance speech, she thanked her manager, her husband, and the son they share together.

If she needs advice on how to get out of the marriage unscathed, she shouldn’t be calling Mary J. Blige, that’s for damn sho’!
