Amber Heard

For all of you that immediately got on the offensive when it came to Amber Heard going after Johnny Depp, now is the time to pause, retract the claws, and admit you quite possibly were wrong.

Yes, including US!

The two, who were married for only a year, have reached a settlement in their heated case and Depp has agreed to part with some of his Pirates of the Carribean money to the tune of $7 million. And before you call out Heard as a gold-digger, listen to her announcement on where the money will go:

“The donation will be divided equally between the ACLU, with a particular focus to stop violence against women, and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where I have worked as a volunteer for the past 10 years.”

And the Hollywood starlet went further, lambasting those who felt she was only in it for the financial gain:

“Money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves.”

Amber Heard

And even more from the doubters, the ones that cannot wrap their heads around Amber Heard not wanting any other income from the A-lister? Well, Heard has also signed away all rights to Depp’s residual income earned during their 15-month marriage.

The only way to spin this now?

Amber Heard is a rebel with a cause.

Get off her back and find a real gold-digger to sink your claws into!

Case closed.
