Angelica Ross has made history as the first trans-woman of color to appear on two shows as a series regular. As the entertainment world takes in this news, more information is slowly but surely being leaked about the upcoming season of American Horror Story: 1984, with executive producer Ryan Murphy promising a grand season that is expected to be full of surprises.

Ross, who struck quite the pose in Pose, made her biggest splash of her career as Candy Ferocity, chronicling the ballroom scene during the 80s and the black and latino LGBTQ+ community at the time. Now that her character is officially off of the FX show, Ross can set all her attention on AHS, which Murphy proclaims may be the biggest one to date.

Joining Ross in the latest incarnation of the hit series will be Emma Roberts and newcomer Gus Kenworthy. Are we all ready for season 9?

Stay tuned…
