The world of art ideally should operate with no borders, which is one of the reasons why Berlin ranks as one of the world’s top destinations for art across a multitude of genres. Under the tutelage of burlesque performer Bana Banana, Dadaism is set to make its impact in the 21st century for an entirely new generation.

During the early 20th century, Dada or Dadaism began as a movement of protest in Zurich, Switzerland against the then current social, cultural, and political ideas of the time. From there, Dadaism spread from Berlin and cross the Atlantic to New York, celebrating integral aspects of poetry, music, theatre, dance, and politics. Hoping to revive this movement for a new audience, Bana has banded together with other like-minded artists in Berlin and throughout the world to produce a monthly party that feeds art to those starved for its purity and inspiration. So what does Berlin have this time around for this anti-war, anti-bourgeois movement?

As with anything that truly encompasses the essence of Berlin, you are to expect the unexpected. Your individuality will be appreciated and as the hostess, Bana encourages all to come and be as freaky and singular as possible.

The line-up for the Bananas Dada Club includes performers from every corner of the globe, ready to serve up a look and sound that will influence a new legion of fans.
