The acidity of Lemonade has not even work off and Beyoncé is embroiled in yet another scandal. As Becky sits in the corner licking her wounds, the Beyhive now has another site of attack and this time, they might have to retract their claws and concede that Bey may be producing her new line of athleisurewear on the cheap.
An investigation by The Sun newspaper has unearthed claims that Beyoncé’s line is being mass produced by Sri Lankan seamstresses that are paid only $6.17 a day. According to one worker there, all they do is work, sleep, work, sleep and she lives in a boarding house, earning a monthly salary of $125.30. Now, anyone that knows the harsh hood immediately understands that this cannot afford even the most basic of Beckys a good lacefront! To make matters even worse? This amount is barely half of what the average Sri Lankan makes and the living arrangements of Bey’s workers do NOT include their own kitchen or shower. Says the worker….
“We have to share the shower block with the men, so there isn’t much privacy. We don’t have much spare money and what we do have we send back to our family.”

Let’s see the Beyhive find a way to clap back at these claims. Perhaps they can get Bey to do a benefit concert for these women and afford them that good hair that Becky loves so much?
Stay tuned…
