Jennifer Hudson and fiancé David Otunga have finally, FINALLY split after almost a decade together. To say we are not that shocked or surprised is saying something because we never saw these two tying the knot anyway. Because what woman makes a man wait a decade before saying ‘I do’ UNLESS she has money and power?!

Aaaaaaaaaaaand she’s telling you….she’s GOING!

BYE!

Jennifer Hudson

According to reports, J-Hud is petitioning for a restraining order against the former WWE wrestler because she wants to ensure that she doesn’t lose custody of their son. According to Otunga’s lawyer:

“David Otunga has been trying to negotiate the terms of an amicable parenting agreement with Ms. Hudson for several weeks now. However, when it became apparent to Ms. Hudson that Mr. Otunga would be the parent granted residential care of the child, as a result of Mr. Otunga being the child’s primary caregiver while Ms. Hudson pursues her career all over the world, Ms. Hudson decided to file a meritless Petition for Order of Protection in an effort to gain an unfair advantage in the custody dispute.”

Meritless? J-Hud is going for the jugular, but she is not finished! Otunga’s legal team also continued with more…

“As a result of Mr. Otunga’s career in the WWE, Ms. Hudson felt that she could give an award winning performance in court to portray herself as the victim.  Mr. Otunga has never abused or harassed Ms. Hudson or their son.”

Jennifer Hudson

According to People magazine (which cannot be believed about ANYTHING these days after naming Blake Shelton their Sexiest Man Alive, but we digress), Hudson’s people issued a statement of their own, proclaiming…

” The statement never accuses Otunga of getting physical with Hudson but we’re told Otunga wanted to make it clear, he never touched her.”

Oscar winner Hudson and the former wrestling star got engaged in 2008 after less than a year but the two never officially married.
