JoyFocus – ‘Love Song Cliché’ JoyFocus, the musical duo, has finally released a new single that will satiate the appetites of their fans that have been waiting for something new from them since the release of their last LP, Cyber Suburban Electro Rock Circus. That album, which received rave reviews across the board, opened a new musical landscape for the two and this latest single does not disappoint their hardcore fans and it is sure to win over new ones. Since 2001, musician Rikk Currence and Holly Joy have been together, a unique act that have choreographed their dance quite well over the years. Both stateside and overseas, they have built up a dedicated following from the underground and mainstream press. After three indie albums and a slew of singles under their belts, they are steadily climbing into the conscious of fans around the globe. ‘Love Song Cliché’ begins with a piano introduction only to unfold into a guitar and then the vocals of Joy. Sparse in the beginning, it quickly comes to the crest, releasing a tsunami of lovely chaos. This song is just the beginning of the musical tease from this group this year. After releasing a few more singles, expect to hear the full length upcoming LP, titled Semi Retro Multi Soul Rebellion. That title sounds just as heady and trippy as their music. As it should be.
