For those of you that were at Coachella a couple of weeks ago, you were probably shocked to see one of the world’s biggest poptrixxx on stage after her recent battle with Sony, but there she was singing her heart out. And now comes official word that Kesha, who has been battling her record label and producer Dr. Luke for the past year or more, is returning in a big way.

The singer is releasing the single ’True Colors’ this Friday, which is the song she surprised fans with on stage with Zedd. He is signed to Interscope and it has been confirmed that Dr. Luke’s company, which basically owns the rights to Kesha, has approved the project. This marks the first new music for Kesha since a judge gave her a big NO in getting out of her Sony deal.

Go support Kesha if you want to hear more new music from her!
