The hip hop singer finally breaks her silence on the shooting that has the music industry playing a game of whodunit
Megan Thee Stallion finally addressed the shooting that had everyone talking, confirming that she was shot not in one, but both feet during the recent altercation via her Instagram Live account on Monday:
“I was shot in both of my feet, and I had to get surgery to get the s–t taken out, the bullets taken out, and it was super scary. It was like just the worst experience of my life, and it’s not funny. There’s nothing to joke about.”
Although her fans are glad that she was not harmed further, they did note that she did not reveal the gunman’s name, alleged to be none other than Tory Lanez. Undeterred by the hoopla surrounding her current status and who the actual person is that shot her, Megan relayed to her fans how she is coping through it all and how she intends to stay strong:
“I definitely had to sit my ass down and pray on it, and I do feel a lot better, and thank God for the people I have around me that are actually here for me and are actually my friends… would never turn on me for no amount of money, no amount of clout. That wouldn’t make up stories about me to save face.”
And where is Tory at after all this drama, you may ask? Police arrested Lanez, 28, moments after the shots were fired on gun possession charges. The rapper posted $35,000 bail and was released. Lanez is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 13. Will Megan eventually name her assailant?
