“We have allowed this disgusting, repugnant, lying ass, sack of sh*t do this to us, inch by inch, incrementally.
We have allowed him to leverage integrity, order, respect, all behind a Presidency we all know in our hearts he does not even want, nor deserve.
Enough of us have stood by and lowered the bar to the point of no return – to the point where we don’t have to worry about breaking any longer because we’ve gotten used to the pain.
It don’t hurt like it did.
Enough of us knew he would do this. We knew he would tear at the very fabric of our democracy. We knew he would have us pointing fingers at one another through a cloud of smoke as he ran for the back door. The writing was on the wall before he even placed his hands on the Bible and promised to protect and honor our Constitution.
We were shaken then.
We’re stirred now.

We’ve been worn down by the shrapnel, the bullets, the canons launched in our direction, day after day, month after month, and now over three years. We wake up every morning, more weary and worried than the day before. We kiss our children and are not prepared to answer their questions because we are at a point now where we don’t even know the answer. We’ve never been at this precipice before. The irony is that?
We may not BE at the precipice.
We are drowning. We are searching for a way out. We are looking to leaders that are looking the other way – on BOTH sides. We have faltered because we have been too distracted by the many distractions to fight directly. We are attempting to cover our bases and the bases are moving as quickly as the lines are being re-drawn. How will this story end?
We shudder at the possibilities, the forecasts, the predictions.
No matter what age you are right now, this moment in American history will be printed indelibly in your mind for all time. There are rarely times like this that test the mettle of a nation to this extent. It is in these moments that countries fold forever or fight upwards and through. So, the questions that we will be asking ourselves for the foreseeable future?
How brave are we REALLY?
Are we willing to make the sacrifices necessary to upend this system?
Which way will America go?
Which way does it WANT to go?”
