finally, a TRUE artist steps forward to support #Baltimore. Have several seats, Bey-Z!

As other pop stars with far more publicity these days hide in the corners and shadows (insert Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye’s names here), the notoriously shy Prince has released a song in support of Baltimore and we could not possibly love the musical genius more after this.

Prince recorded the song ‘Baltimore’ earlier this month, and now it is available on his Soundcloud account. With lyrics like this…

“Are we gonna see another bloody day? / We’re tired of cryin’ and people dyin’ / Let’s all take the guns away.”

How can you not be moved?

And unlike other alleged singer-songwriters clutching at Grammys they indirectly bought, we know Prince wrote all the lyrics himself.

Support Baltimore, support #BlackLivesMatter and make a difference in your neighborhood.
