When it comes to issuing verbal slaps, Rosie O’Donnell is usually the one delivering them, but as the divorce proceedings continue against her ex Michelle Rounds, it is clear that she’s not the only one that knows how to hurl them with precision.

The two are squabbling publically over custody of their two-year-old daughter Dakota and if either party wanted this to be a private matter, that is apparently all but a distant memory.

Rounds, in a move that is making O’Donnell gasp for air, is fighting for sole custody, claiming her ex is not fit to be a full-time or even part-time mother to their two-year-old daughter. According to Rounds…

“It makes me feel sad that it has come to this — that Rosie and her publicist feel like they need to do this character assassination. I just want my child to have the best possible environment to grow up in, a normal life. Right now she’s got 24/7 nannies over there at Rosie’s house. I don’t want my child to have a 24/7 nanny. She leaves the baby overnight with nannies, she has the monitor in the nanny’s room.”

And Rounds did not stop there, claiming that Rosie is the type of mother that lacks the stamina and discipline to raise their child to her satisfaction…

“I give her mild discipline instead of like — carte blanche, do whatever you want — which is more or less how Rosie likes to do things.”

For the naysayers that contend Michelle Rounds is after Rosie’s millions and millions of dollars, she has news for them: not only is she not after Rosie’s money, but she is a millionaire in her own right…

“I will walk away from the prenup if Rosie will give me full custody. I made my first million before the age of 39, that was before I met Rosie. I don’t need Rosie’s money. I don’t want Rosie’s money. Nothing was in my name. The prenup money means nothing to me.”

No gold-digger action here, kids!
