SAG AWARDS Fashion Rundown

The SAG Awards proved that sometimes, those that fell off the bandwagon can come back home – at least sartorially. The following are the ones that made their 2016 SAG Awards red carpet special and worthy of this list.

Viola Davis in Zac Posen

If anyone else with less than an hourglass va-va-vavoom figure had attempted this dress, it would have fallen off and on to the red carpet itself, but on Viola Davis it fit like a glove. Davis ramped it up a notch for this event, and this plum-colored Zac Posen dress definitely agreed with her in every way. Bless her and this dress!

Eva Longoria

After a misstep at the Golden Globes, Longoria returned to form in this see-through green number that left little to the imagination. This is what we expect from Eva and this time?

She brought it!

Laverne Cox in Prabal Gurung

The Orange Is The New Black star has always made a red carpet splash and this SAG Awards entry was no exception. Channeling a Greek goddess, Cox took Prabal Gurung’s burgundy dress and worked it, with enough flash of skin to leave them wanting more. Well done, Miss Cox.

Well done.

Brie Larson in Atelier Versace

Who cares if frontrunner Brie Larson wins the Oscar? At this point, she has already won the red carpet season! After going gold and glam at the Golden Golbes, Larson veered towards powder blue perfection this time, high slit, cleavage out, shoulders bared?

Brie was laced in luxury.

Brie did that.

Be like Brie.

Of course, every year, there’s someone that refused the help of someone sane to clothe them and this year, the award goes to…

Lori Petty in Pepto Bismol

You knew as soon as you saw this cotton candy on crack blunder where she would end up on our list. Petty may have escaped the insane asylum, but apparently didn’t ditch the couture rags that came with the territory.

Who will rule the biggest red carpet, the Oscars, in a few weeks?

Stay tuned…
