Someone go drag this midget and school him, because apparently he missed a few weeks at the academy in Middle Earth…

The world’s funniest midget, Kevin Hart, has yet again put his size 2 feet firmly in the crook of his mouth and ass again after putting the LGBTQ community on blast through a series of tweets he made in the past that have been un-earthed for the general public. Initially, the comedian declined the Academy’s request to issue an apology, stating this…

“I chose to pass, I passed on the apology. The reason I chose to pass is because I’ve addressed this several times, this is not the first time this has come up, I’ve addressed this… I’m not going to continue to go back and tap into the days of old when I’ve moved on and I’m in a completely different space in my life,” he said.

But after various groups put on the pressure, Black Smurf issued a retraction and then announced he is not going to host next year’s Oscar show. Here is his statement:

“I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscars. This is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past. I’m sorry that I hurt people. I am evolving and want to continue to do so. My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart. Much love and appreciation to the Academy. I hope we can meet again.”

So, for now, Hart will not be joining Chris Rock and Whoopi Goldberg and Sammy Davis, Jr. as one of the few people of color to host the event.

Maybe the year AFTER next, Mr. Hart. But for now?

BYE!
