Another team, another departure.

Is this story ever going to change?

Michael Sam , who has been shuffled around more NFL locker rooms than any Kardashian, has left the Montreal Alouettes, allegedly for personal reasons. The team issued a statement about Sam’s departure:

“The Montreal Alouettes fully respect Michael Sam’s decision and rally around him to offer him all time and support needed. The team has left the door open and Michael is welcome to come back whenever he feels ready.”

For those that are taking count, Michael Sam was first drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the 7th round, making him the first openly gay person drafted in the NFL, then spent a month with the Dallas Cowboys before leaving them, and now this. Will he return to the Alouettes? Will he give up the dream of playing professional football?

Stay tuned…
