The Time Gaga Trumped Beyoncé It looks like Queen Bey is drinking someone else’s lemonade these days! Reports have now leaked that Lady Gaga has replaced Bey in a remake of the classic A Star Is Born after she demanded $8 million dollars for her acting appearance fees. Excuse us while we go snicker in a corner. Someone in the Beyhive apparently feels as if acting is one of her strong points as they demanded such exorbitant fees, but Bradley Cooper, who will be making his directorial debut with this film, was not having it, buying it, or even subletting it. Lady Gaga’s team however, with Golden Globe statuette in hand, swooped down and accepted the role instead. According to insiders… “Bradley flew out to direct Gaga in the audition himself, and she knocked it out of the park. Then he personally took the tape to Warner Bros. to get approval.” You are not the only one perplexed as to how Beyonce believes she can command such rates when her acting – or lack thereof – has never been anything to brag about. Sure she was convincing in Obsessed, but then again, was she really stretching in that role?! Somewhere, Jennifer Hudson is hugging her Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA, and SAG Awards and cackling like a hyena. Word of advice to Lady Gaga? The Beyhive is mad and you’re in danger, girl!
