Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Headed Back to Golden Globes As Hosts?

Don’t call it a comeback!

The dynamic duo, who hosted the Golden Globes for three years, may have dropped the mic for the last time in 2015, but there’s widespread speculation that the two may be called back after a brief hiatus that had Ricky Gervais stepping in for them to reviews that have ranged from tepid to lukewarm.

The Reports Are Piping Up

According to Page Six and other news outlets, Tina and Amy have already been approached by the brass over at the Golden Globes, who are looking to improve on the ratings they’ve had the last few years. With ratings down in 2020, they’d better do something before they end up featuring the awards ceremony on the corner of Hollywood and Vine!

Now, the people that represent the two funny ladies have no comment as of yet, but with buzz already reaching a fever pitch, it may be only a matter of time before a new contract is drawn up and the ladies are back up on the podium where they belong.

Any Other Contenders?

Of course, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have a track record of delivering the funny for the Golden Globes, but there are a slew of other comedians that could give the two a run for their money. So, let’s consider a few other names. How about Awkwafina? Maybe Sarah Silverman? Or Tiffany Haddish? But please dear GOD?

Leave Amy Schumer where she belongs?

In a ditch.
