In honor of the rapper,  ex-wife and R&B diva Faith Evans, his
daughter T’yanna Wallace, Lil Cease, Jadakiss, and others converged on his hometown to pay respects to the New York native.

Marking nearly twenty years since The Notorious B.I.G. met his
untimely death, we cannot help but wonder what the state of hip hop would be like had he survived? Would it have continued on its ascent and led to an explosion of real rap or would we still have to sit around and dance around the sonic fuckery that is Whiggy Azalea?

Who knows, but for now, all that is known is that he is sorely missed.
