Sonic SLAP: Monifah at the GLAAD Media Awards

Monifah hit up the red carpet over the weekend of the 26th Annual GLAAD Media Awards and looked every inch the part of a diva.

On the arm of her wife Terez, Monifah was there to celebrate and honour celebrities in the public eye that have brought LGBT issues to the forefront of society. Monifah made history last year when she married her wife on the third season of her television show R&B Divas.

In another move that has resonated with her fans, the singer recently released her second single after over a fifteen year hiatus. We only have one thing to say:

What took you so long? We’ve been waiting!
